TESTIMONIALS
-
“Alyssa was an absolute PRO’S PRO during her visit to UNT…she performs her original music with absolute commitment and conviction, spoke with authenticity and an openness that endeared her to the students, and conveyed crucial and highly valuable information to them that inspired them that day and well beyond! As both an artist and educator, she possesses that exceedingly rare gift of being equally adept using both sides of her brain, and I know that she will continue to inspire in both aspects of her career going forward. I look forward to watching her star continue to rise!”
-Jennifer Barnes
Professor of Music and Director of UNT Jazz Singers, University of North Texas -
“Alyssa was a terrific artist, terrific clinician, and a terrific person! She gave me and my students so many tangible ideas to immediately improve our musicianship and stage presence and gave a terrific songwriting presentation as part of our festival. And her performance the night before was unbelievable, she’s easily one of the best guest artists we’ve ever had for our festival!”

Alyssa served as the guest artist for the St. Mary’s University Fiesta Jazz Festival, putting on a stellar performance and a fantastic clinic where she addressed topics such as vocal technique, improvisation, stylistic interpretation, composition approaches and music business strategies.
